🎨🤎 A New Work of Art at TMS! 🤎🎨

We are excited to share a first look at our brand-new TMS mural, which was installed outside our main office yesterday! 🐾✨

This incredible piece of art began as a Highly Capable project led by our HiCap and Art teacher, Ms. Baisinger. Our students worked alongside Ms. Baisinger and Kirkwood Art teacher Ms. Lemus to design and create a mural that represents the students, families, and community that make TMS special.

We also want to give big thank you to local artist Jon Shellenberger for his contributions to the mural design.

The project was made possible through a partnership between our Highly Capable Program and ESD 105 Communities in Schools, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.

There are still a few finishing touches to complete following the installation, but we couldn’t wait to share! We will officially unveil the completed mural at our TMS Open House next Wednesday, August 26th at 5:30 PM. 🎉

We are so proud of our students and staff for creating a piece of artwork that will welcome our families and represent our school for years to come. Stay tuned for more pictures—and recognition of all the students and adults who helped bring this amazing project to life—once it is officially complete! 🎨🐾🤎
