As doulas, we spend our lives educating and protecting birthing families. But maternal medical emergencies can happen to anyone, even us. In Part 1, our very own doula opens up about her scary experience with maternal sepsis. Sepsis is a life threatening complication, and know the signs can quite literally save your life.
