NAMI Topeka is putting on a Family 2 Family workshop for families, friends, and caregivers of adults (over 18) suffering with mental illness.

Date: March 31 - May 19, 2025
Time: 6pm - 8:30pm (8 consecutive Monday evenings)
Place: Countryside UM Church located at
3221 SW Burlingame Rd Topeka, KS Room #4
- Parking is in front lot
- No Charge for workshop
- Workbooks, bottled water & snacks provided

This workshop is lead by volunteers with lived experience of family members with mental illness.

****Mental Health News****
NAMI Topeka has a Family-to-Family Class starting 3/31/25. This is an 8-week class that meets one night a week for Family, friends or caretakers of those with a mental illness. Classes are free and topics covered are empathy, communication, problem solving, recovery and moving forward.

As a parent of an adult child with a mental illness, the Family-to-Family training changed my life! I realized I was not alone and learned information and strategies that helped my family immensely.

NAMI Topeka had a really great time participating in the 12th annual Shawnee County Su***de Prevention Coalition 5k! We had a table with lots of mental health resources for members of our community.
