Supporters of SHP Topeka, we wanted to share the below link from the family of Mrs. Paula Huff. As we stated in our tribute to her last weekend, she was a big advocate for Sleep in Heavenly Peace here in town. If you would like to contribute to SHP in her honor, we would love to put more kids in a bed. While we have a big hole where she left us physically, our Local SHP team will try to fill that void continuing to fulfill one of the missions that she so dearly loved. What an incredible woman and impact she continues to make even after her presence has left us.

We would like to dedicate this weekend's deliveries to Mrs. Paula Huff's family and friends. Earlier this week, Mrs. Paula's time on Earth came to an end. She was one of our biggest advocates and loved to work behind the scenes to make our mission successful. She made many things happen without blinking an eye.

Thank you Topeka for letting us into your homes to give kids a bed to sleep on. We can't do our mission without you, recipients, or our volunteers that are willing to flex with very little notice and still make this all happen. YOU ALL ROCK!

Yesterday we were blessed to deliver 3 bunk beds. Every delivery seems to make our hearts grow a little bigger. What a joy it is to be part of something bigger than ourselves and to witness the impact a simple bed can make.

Last night, 6 very excited kids slept in beds of their own. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. ❤️

Over the extended weekend we delivered another 24 beds! This community is awesome! Enjoy some of these sweet smiles and amazing quilt work. Come join us on this journey. Bed build this Saturday and deliveries every weekend with some in between. Thanks Topeka for your support!

Thanks to House2Home Design and Decor for allowing us to do a bedding drive at their location at Fairlawn Plaza. We have loved your support from our crawling stage! Topeka if you want to drop off pillows or twin size sheets or comforters, we will be there for the next two weeks. Thanks Bonnie Totten and team for the assist assembling our mini bed today!
