You can now purchase Velvet Season Permits for the Velvet Buck Season that is September 11-13, 2026!⁠

These permits are available to purchase where hunting and fishing licenses are sold. The cost of the permit for residents is $10.00. For non-residents, this permit is included in your $100.00 deer permit.⁠
⁠
This 3-day archery season is only on private lands and only legal bucks may be harvested. Hunters are required to report any harvest and submit CWD samples. ⁠
