We’re incredibly grateful to Enbridge for their generous donation supporting our firefighters and our community.

This contribution helps ensure our firefighters stay physically strong, mentally healthy, and ready to serve at their best. It also allows us to create more opportunities to give back and support those around us through meaningful service and safety awareness.

Strong firefighters build a stronger community, and partnerships like this make that possible.

Thank you, Enbridge, for investing in the people behind the badge. 🔥

We want to extend a huge thank you to Bombay Kitchen for hosting and catering an incredible dinner for the Tooele City Fire Department. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the generosity behind it meant even more. Taking the time to thank first responders and support our department does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for the hospitality, kindness, and amazing Indian cuisine. We’re proud to serve a community that supports us the way you do—thank you for everything!

Today we want to recognize and thank Battalion Chief John Curwen for an incredible 45+ years of dedicated service to the Tooele City Fire Department.

As he steps into retirement and moves onto the “Senior Firefighter List,” we reflect on a career defined by commitment, leadership, and service. Chief Curwen proudly served the citizens of Tooele City as a Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, and for two years as Fire Chief.

Beyond the titles, his mentorship, steady guidance, and dedication have shaped generations of firefighters and strengthened our department. We are truly grateful for his service to our department and to the citizens of Tooele City.

Thank you, Chief Curwen, for leaving a lasting legacy and for a job exceptionally well done. 🚒👏

Santa hitched a ride on a firetruck today — apparently the reindeer are on break.
TVFD had a great time taking him through the parade, sirens and all!

As for holiday safety, Santa asked us to pass along this very important message:
✨ “Please plug in your Christmas lights responsibly… I can only deliver presents — I don’t put out electrical fires.”
🔥 So keep those outlets happy, cords untangled, and houses un-toasted.

Wishing you a bright and safe holiday season from your TVFD family! 🎄❤️

Wednesday night training featuring our new recruits🔥

08/04/2025

Yesterday at approximately 8:52pm, Tooele City Fire Department received a page to respond to a structure fire. Upon arrival from our first arriving units it was determined that two single family dwellings both had heavy smoke and flames. Tooele City Fire Department personnel along with personnel from North Tooele Fire Department worked to bring the fire under control and extinguish the flames. The origin and cause are still under investigation.

We would like the community to know that; We Appreciate Your Generosity and are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and the willingness of so many in our community to help during times of crisis.
Your kindness does not go unnoticed.
At this time, we want to gently share that the Fire Department does not accept or distribute donated items.
Fortunately, the American Red Cross has been activated and is equipped to handle donations and provide direct assistance to those affected.
If you’re looking for ways to help, we encourage you to reach out to the Red Cross or other local relief organizations that are set up for this important work.

Thank you for being a compassionate and supportive community.
