Hi everyone. Here are the final locations for our Food Donations this Summer:
TOOELE
1)Tuesday, June 30: Karaoke Contest (4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. @ Aquatic Center Park)
Tuesday, June 30: Corvette Car Show (5:00 pm - 8:00 pm @ Aquatic Center Park)
Tuesday, June 30: Community BBQ (6:00 p.m. @ Aquatic Center Park)
So the collection container will be at the Tooele Aquatic Center Park from 4-8 pm. on July 30th.

2) Collection container will be at the SwitchPoint coffee shop inside the Tooele Thrift Store at 34 S Main St (entrance in back) from June 15 - July 15. Here are the store hours:
Monday - Friday - 9a - 4p
Saturday Closed
Sunday Closed

GRANTSVILLE
July 3rd - 3 on 3 basketball - at 50 Park St. by the Grantsville Elementary School - starting at 5:00 pm

ERDA
July 10th (Fri) - 6pm - 7 pm
July 11th (Sat) - noon until 4 pm
at Warr Memorial Park (also known as the Erda Ball Field), 4468 Warr Lane, Erda, UT

We will be coming out with flyers to distribute to congregations soon! Please help us get the word out about this great summer project to help our community!

The Food Pantry would prefer: toilet paper, canned meals (Spaghetti-Os, ravioli, Beefaroni), boxed meals (hamburger helper, tuna helper, and chunky soups that just need to be heated up). Of course, anything will help.

Reminder that our meeting is tomorrow night, May 13th, at Mountain of Faith Lutheran Church (560 S. Main St, Tooele). Potluck is at 6: 30pm with the meeting starting at 7:00. We will have a presentation by Tooele Police on church building safety and security, work on our summer food drive, and have a presentation on working with Tooele County Emergency Services on a Victims Assistance Center to be set up in case of a mass casualty event. Tooele Police Department will be coming to speak about safeguarding our churches!
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, May 13th at Mtn of Faith Lutheran Church (560 S. Main St.) – potluck dinner at 6:30 pm with meeting at 7:00 pm. Call Pastor Traci at 801-577-4100 or email [email protected] for more info.

Our next meeting wil be on March 10, 2026. We will have a potluck at 6:30 with the meeting starting at 7:00pm. We will have this month's meeting at the Tooele Senior Center - 59 E. Vine Street in Tooele. All faith leaders are welcome to attend! For more information, contact Pr. Traci at 801-577-4100.

Hello all. We are trying to get our page active again! First, here is the mission and vision of the Tooele County Interfaith Council: for our group:

Vision Statement

As a council, we envision a Tooele County community that embraces religious and spiritual diversity, promotes understanding, respect, and love of all
people, and inspires its citizens to work collaboratively to make our
community a better place.

Mission Statement

We will seek to accomplish our vision in the following ways:

-Meet regularly to build relationships, educate, and inspire
council members on topics of mutual interest;
-Be an instrument of communication and action throughout our
faith community;
-Work together to learn of community needs, and connect these
needs with entities and resources willing and able to help meet
them.
-Work together in unity for the purpose of making our community
a better place.
