Yesterday, we hosted the 4th and 5th grade classes up at the high school for an educational display. Ms. McGhan's Ag Science class planned out an event filled with fun, hands-on activities to teach a little slice of agriculture to the kids. We are very proud of our students for stepping up into this role and we hope that we inspired some students to consider joining an ag class and FFA in the future.

We had some fierce competition last night at the district contest. I’m excited to share that our middle school rituals team consisting of Kali Lusk, Raci Rothrock, Lilly Pillow, Meranda R***r, Lane Kester, and Jacie Stevenson received 2nd place and will be representing us at state. We also have Kassidy Symonds, who placed 2nd in the Agricultural Education contest, and will represent us at the state contest.

For our fair people, can you please check if you have scarves or ties hidden in tack boxes or in trailers? We don’t have any scarves in our official dress box and we need them for tomorrow.

We had 5 students compete at the sub-district contest last night at Okanogan High School. 4 of them will be moving on to compete at the district contest in Chelan. Please help me in congratulating the following students:

3rd place- Atinka Thomas

Creed:
5th place- Alondra Polito

We missed two of the girls in the photos because they needed to leave early but their banners are proudly hung in the classroom!

Hi all-

We have a student competing at sub districts tomorrow in Okanogan for Public Speaking that does not have a black skirt. Is there anyone that might be willing to let us borrow one? I’d guess she’s a medium. Black slacks would be great too but the sizing would be a little harder to figure out. Thanks in advance.
