Sharing a fun FREE community event happening right here in Tomball! 💜
Groovfest is coming to Tomball Depot Plaza on Saturday, September 26 with live music, local vendors, a vintage car show, kids activities, giveaways & more. Such a fun way to get out and enjoy our community! 🎶✨

September is next week, Tomball! That means y'all better be getting ready for Groovfest 2026!! 🎶🎤

Join us on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Tomball Depot Plaza for a FREE festival filled with live music, family-friendly entertainment and activities, local vendors, and more!

Live music will begin at noon with iconic 80s hits performed by “The Spicolis,” followed by the greatest disco band in the world, “Le Freak” at 2:30 p.m. Family-friendly entertainment and activities will include an epic vintage car show, photo ops, bubble stations, stilt walkers, and a dedicated Kids’ Zone with interactive fun for all ages! PLUS, we're bringing out a variety of local food and artisan vendors offering tasty treats and unique finds all day long.

✨ As a bonus, we're extending the fun to inside the Tomball Community Center this year with games and crafts from noon to 4:00 p.m.! ✨

Hold the phone, did we mention admission, activities, and parking are completely free? We can’t wait to see everyone in downtown Tomball for an unforgettable day of throwback charm and entertainment!

September is here, which means we’re getting closer to our annual Families Feeding Families event! 🍂

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about the event and the many ways you can get involved. Whether you’d like to volunteer, donate, help behind the scenes, or attend, there is a place for you!

There’s just something really special about seeing our community come together to remember the people we lost far too soon. 🤍

On September 11, the City of Tomball and our local first responders will be gathering to honor the lives lost, the heroes who stepped up, and all of the families who were forever changed that day.

I really do love that our community makes space for moments like this and continues to show up for our first responders, military families, and each other. 🇺🇸

It’s a free event and, if you’ve never been, it’s honestly really moving to experience in person.

Reminder: Save the date to join us next month on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at the Tomball Depot Plaza (201 S Elm St.) for a solemn 9/11 remembrance honoring the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, the brave first responders who gave their lives, and all those forever impacted by the tragedy of September 11, 2001.

For the 25th anniversary, we will be holding a full ceremony in the morning beginning at 8:15 a.m., as well as a brief tribute in the evening at 7:15 p.m. During the evening tribute, two skylights will be illuminated as a symbolic representation of the Twin Towers and will remain illuminated until midnight.

Sharing for our community — bring the family out for the End of Summer Carnival on Friday, August 28th! Lots of free fun for the kids + a sweet way to wrap up summer together. ☀️

This month the Tomball Community Center is hosting an End of Summer Carnival! 🥳🎪

We're inviting everyone to join us for free fun that will include bull riding, face painting, animal balloons, games, crafts, refreshments, and more. 🎈 Bring the whole family out for a fun evening in downtown Tomball to make some memories as summer 2026 comes to an end! 🎉

It can be the little boost of confidence a child needs before heading back to school, the fresh start someone wants before a job interview, or simply a chance for someone to feel cared for and good about themselves.

That’s why we’re so thankful to be able to offer free haircuts at our Families Feeding Families event each year. And we couldn’t do it without the incredible hairstylists and barbers who show up, give their time, and use their talents to serve others. ✂️❤️

Last year alone, more than 112 free haircuts were given at our event. To some, it may seem like a small thing. To the person sitting in that chair, it just might mean a whole lot more. 💙
