As students on the Tolleson campus, we recognize the need for understanding and acceptance of all students, specifically our LGBT peers, by the broader student body. As members of the Tolleson Gay Straight Alliance, we dedicate our collective energy so that we may bridge the divide that exists between the society in general and members of the LGBT community. Today, we stand as an organization dete

rmined to effect change upon our campus and community by ridding it of harmful misconceptions of LGBT youth and their friends and family, and of negative self-perceptions. Together, we will create a positive experience for all of our members and allies so that the LGBT community may achieve the level of acceptance the rest of society enjoys. With the help and support of the community, we will create a positive space for LGBT youth so they may recognize the beauty in themselves and serve as models of true self-expression.

Hey Tolleson and University high students! GSA will be hosting an 80's night on Tuesday, September 17th at 5:00. We will watch "The Breakfast Club" have karaoke, and have a contest for Best-dressed. Admission is free. Invite your friends!
