A huge thank you to everyone who came out to share a drink, talk shop, and connect with fellow media professionals. Our local journalism community is only as strong as the people in it, and seeing so many passionate storytellers in one room was incredibly inspiring.

Missed out on this one? Don't worry! Keep an eye on our page for details on our summer mixer set for July!

Lamson's 64th anniversary, Blade journalist William "Chub" DeWolfe's work being acquired by the library, city council, an increase in minor crime, and a horse invasion filled the daily budget.

Media is a tough industry, but mothers are tougher.

Today, we honor the women in the Toledo press who bring their whole selves to the job. Whether you’re a mother or a mother figure, we see you raising the next generation of truth-seekers. We see your hard work, and we value your voice.

Happy Mother's Day to the women who lead the way in showing that motherhood and a high-impact career aren't at odds; they're a powerful combination.

Join us in celebrating WTOL 11 anchor Kalie Marantette as she marks her 30th birthday!

In a career already distinguished by a National Edward R. Murrow Award, Kalie has proven that age is no barrier to excellence. From investigating the David Broadway case for years to her nightly seat at the WTOL 11 anchor desk, she has become a vital voice for accountability in northwest Ohio.

We look forward to seeing her continued growth in this next chapter.
