Today, our hearts are full of hope.💚

The Toledo Lead Resource Center is incredibly proud to celebrate our collaboration with Young Empowered Authors on the release of Spot It, Stop It, Stay Safe! A powerful children’s book written by children, for children right here in our region. This book, along with the accompanying activity book will be made available exclusively through the Toledo Lead Resource Center.

There is something truly inspiring about young voices leading the way in encouraging their peers to be lead-safe. By teaching children how to recognize lead hazards and stay safe, these young authors are helping create healthier homes, stronger families, and a brighter future for our community.

We are honored to stand alongside these talented young leaders, whose creativity and courage remind us that age is never a barrier to making a difference. Together, we are empowering the next generation with knowledge that can save lives and prevent childhood lead poisoning.

Congratulations to every young author who poured their heart into this incredible project. Your words will educate, inspire, and protect children for years to come. Lastly, a special thank you to LeSean Shaw, Vice President of Empowered AI for his collaborative leadership in this project.

The conversation with the CDC and The Junction Coalition was very insightful!
