South Tama County Scholarship Foundation Inc. The South Tama Scholarship Foundation Board's goal is to provide scholarships to STC High School students seeking to further their education after high school.

Previously referred to as "Dollars for Scholars" The South Tama Scholarship Foundation Board's goal is to provide scholarships to students seeking post secondary education. Because of changes within the national organization, which would have taken away local control and cost dollars that would otherwise be availab

le for scholarships, the board decided to step away from the national Dollars for Scholars organization. South Tama Scholarship Foundation Inc. became a completely independent organization on January 1, 2014. In May 2015, a total of $70,250 was presented to 44 members of the Class of 2014. Since its inception 25 years ago the South Tama Scholarship Foundation has received over $1.5 million dollars in donations and awarded over $927,000 to 1425 seniors.
