Yesterday was drop off day! This year, we adopted a smaller district, North Baltimore. We were able to work with them directly to provide exactly what they needed (adult sized coats for high school kids, gloves, and money for underfunded programs). It was such an amazing experience and we are so grateful for all of you who make this possible every year!

This year we provided:
•22 adult coats!
•Gloves!
•$250 towards the Special Education departments annual field trip!
•$250 towards the “Tiger Cafe” which is run as a way to teach kids the skills they need to succeed after high school!

Extra thanks to our cousin, Mallory who works at NB and set this up for us ♥️ our dad would love that we kept this in the family.

🎄🎅🏼 Hello from Mike’s Mission TPS!!

We’re so excited to be kicking off our annual winter coat drive for 2022!! We are offering support to the entire TPS district again this year so any help is very appreciated. We are looking for new winter coats, hats, gloves, socks, boots- anything to keep the kids warm and cozy during these cold months as they head to and from school. As usual, we are accepting in-person donations, items shipped to us, or monetary donations via DonorBox (link added below) that we will use to purchase items for donation.

We’d love your help to hit our goal of 100 coats this year!!

We are SO EXCITED to once again be participating in Jūpmode Supply’s Here For Good campaign! This year, we are showing our Pickett Pride with our color scheme as an ode to the one and only, Mike Chamberlin and his nearly 30 years as a Pickett Tiger! Hello, hello!!!
We’ve been quiet this winter, but we’ve been working on a few things, we promise!! We were able to donate our winter weather items to our friends at Toledo Public Schools we were also able to help out six TPS students who needed clothes to wear by gifting them a trip to Walmart, and we are working on placing our first little library soon!

We have been able to connect with Wendy, the director of MV HEART for TPS (working with students without homes or students in need), to be able to broaden our support. Wendy will be able to let us know when specific needs arise (like the students who needed clothing ASAP!) so that we can hopefully jump in to help!

One of the biggest needs Wendy mentioned is beds for the students and families who are being placed in housing after being homeless. We are excited to help as much as we can with what we have now, and will be continuously accepting donations to purchase beds and have an ongoing fund for emergency situations for students!
