Today is Wreaths Across America Day. Wreaths will be placed on graves of military veterans across the country, by volunteers. If you have time to help today you can click on the link to volunteer at National Military and public cemeteries near you.

Welcome to the public page for Space Coast Nurse Honor Guard. We are a chapter of the National Nurse Honor Guard. The National Nurse Honor Guard is a volunteer organization of nurses that perform ceremonies at a funeral or a memorial of a fellow nurse to honor their life and dedication to the nursing profession. There is also an option for a living tribute ceremony for a nurse in the final chapter of their lives. We attend Honor Flight welcome home ceremonies at Melbourne Airport, Wreaths Across America wreath laying ceremonies and other local events. This page is open to everyone interested in our group.

There is a separate page that is open to members only. If you are a nurse (active or retired) we invite you to consider joining our group. Our group covers Brevard and some of Indian River County. To join you would need to answer a couple of questions, pay for annual dues and be willing to participate in our activities, throughout the year. If you are not in our local area, we can help you locate a chapter near you, just reach out with any questions.

If you have information about a nurse’s family who would like a ceremony performed at a funeral or any events you think that we might participate in please let us know.
