YMCA Camp Tippecanoe A Place For FUN and ADVENTURE
www.camptipp.org YMCA Camp Tippecanoe has been helping kids learn and grow since 1958.

We create a culture of excellence with our staff, who are trained to think of the camper’s safety and happiness first. Tippecanoe is a traditional residential camp for boys and girls ages 7-17. Adventure Camp, teaches traditional camp skills through such paths as Art, Storytelling, Watercrafts, and Outdoor Wilderness Living Skills. Horse Camps offer progressive programming for beginners, at Lazy-T

Ranch where campers have their own horse for a week and Bridles and Back Packs where campers pack out by horseback. Teen campers include Rangers for 13 and 14 year olds, Inawendewin for older teens, Arts & Adventure Trip, Packs & Paddles Trip and Leadership Camps. All of our programs are founded on the Character Counts six pillars of character .

Week 8 Day 5 !! We finished our last night of camp with our carnival where campers got their faces painted, rode on a hay ride, raced on the bounce house and did a dance party. Campers competed in a game of Mission Impossible where GREEN TEAM came out on top!

Week 8 Day 3 !! Round two of our Color War competition was a sand building challenge. Campers worked with their teams to see what designs they could come up with to impress our judges. The winner of the sand building competition was... RED TEAM!

Week 8 Day 2 !! Horse campers met their horse for the first time and practiced their grooming skills while Lazy T campers got to practice in the arena before heading out on a trail. Rangers went to our initiative course to work on their team bonding skills. Sports pack went on the zipline, craft pack decorated the lodge for color wars, farm pack got to paint the farm animals and wild pack explored camp to find materials for their natural projects. We ended the night by playing Gold Rush as our first Color War competition. Green team took the lead collecting a total of 126 bricks!
