Tioga County Moving Wall

09/11/2026

Thank you to the first responders from Tioga County who stopped by the Veterans memorial at Williamson High School, during their 9.11 mile walk today on the 25th anniversary of 9/11. We are truly thankful for those who took a moment to pay tribute to our local heroes. Thank you!

Today the Veterans Memorial at Williamson High School was the site of a wreath laying, thanks in part to the Elkland Moose Riders who hosted the ceremony to honor our veterans and mark America’s upcoming 250th birthday. Thank you!

Remember, Honor, Teach. Saturday was Wreaths Across America day, where evergreen wreaths are laid at the graves of veterans across the country to honor of their service and sacrifice. We also placed a wreath at the Vietnam War memorial at Williamson High School, in memory of those from Tioga County who fought and lost their lives during the Vietnam War.
