Hi! I’m Allison Keithly, a Board member of Timnath Main. I moved to Timnath with my husband and young son in June 2024, seeking a fresh start in northern Colorado. By happenstance, we landed here and were immediately drawn to the town’s charm and strong sense of community. Coming from a large metropolitan area, we especially loved being just blocks from Downtown Timnath, where we can easily walk to local businesses as a family.

As millennial parents, we were thrilled to be within walking distance of the town’s flagship brewery, Timnath Beerwerks. It was one of the first places we visited while house hunting, and we loved it right away. The beer, atmosphere, and people make it a place you want to return to, and we’ve always felt welcome there as a family. It truly creates an inclusive space for the whole community.

The only thing better than living down the street from a brewery though, was finding out that brewery was staring a running club (a cornerstone of millennial hobbies)! I had been part of similar groups in our previous city, so finding that here made the transition even more better. Well, luckily the timing of my move was perfect. In June 2024, Timnath Beerwerks launched the town’s first (and only!) brewery running club led by passionate community member, Johnny Garvey. Since June 2024, the Timnath Pub Runners have met every Thursday evening at Beerwerks for a 5k run, walk, or jog, followed by time together over drinks. (Join us!)

The Timnath Pub Runners group is one of the gems that makes an old town business like Timnath Beerwerks feel like a place for building community. From the running club to trivia nights and the Farmer’s Market, Timnath Beerwerks is more than a brewery, it’s a true hub for community connection.

Forgot to meal prep this week? Timnath Beerwerks has you covered with a great food truck line-up (and maybe a few crispy bevs).

Tacos. Lobster. And that chipotle drizzle from Witty's. Get outta here.

See ya there.

Hi neighbors, I’m Katie, and I have the honor of serving as Chair of Timnath Main.

I’ve always loved discovering places that feel a little off the beaten path. The unexpected spots you don’t notice at first. That’s one of the things I love most about our little town. There are some incredible businesses doing beautiful work, nestled just off Main Street.

The Collected Self
Located just a block off Main, this is a thoughtfully curated space full of design, vintage finds, and creativity. You may have seen their table at the farmers market last year showcasing thier work!

Sistainable Mercantile & Refillery
Located in JJ District, it’s a hidden gem focused on helping families eliminate unnecessary household waste by refilling eco-friendly, hypoallergenic products. It’s practical, thoughtful, and truly community minded.

I joined Timnath MAIN because I believe our town’s magic often lives in these smaller, meaningful spaces. If you haven’t wandered just beyond the main path lately, this might be your sign.

Hi I'm Brian Skipper, one of the Board members of Timnath Main! My family and I moved to Timnath a few years ago, and it didn’t take long for it to feel like home. We were drawn to Timnath because of the small-town spirit and the way neighbors genuinely show up for one another.

As Timnath continues to grow, I’ve come to appreciate even more how important it is to protect that sense of connection. Serving as an inaugural board member for Timnath Main felt like a natural way to invest in the heart of the community that’s giving our kids such a special place to grow up.

When we’re on Main Street, we almost always stop by The Hidden Stem. Our family frequents it for the great selection of local fruits and vegetables, and our kids especially love seeing the different pets each time we visit. What Lindsay has created there is more than a shop — it’s a place that feels personal and welcoming. It’s one of those spots where you run into neighbors, linger a little longer than planned, and leave feeling more connected than when you walked in.

When I picture Main Street a few years from now, I hope it continues to feel like that — welcoming, relaxed, and full of life. I hope it’s a place where families gather, neighbors connect, and everyone feels like they belong.

Did You Know?

Before there were streets or storefronts, Arapaho families camped along the Cache la Poudre because the valley offered shelter and game. Chief Friday, an Arapaho leader closely tied to this area, spent winters here and later became known as a guide, interpreter, and bridge between cultures.

Many things in the area are named after the Council Tree, a large Cottonwood tree that stood for over 120 years. That tree was the meeting site for many councils held by Chief Friday.

Timnath’s story starts long before settlement. The land was already known, traveled, and valued.

The morning commute is really getting out of hand.

Have you witnessed the daily turkey trot as the local rafter of turkeys heads out for breakfast?

Did you know it was a rafter and not a flock or a gaggle? We didn't either. We had to google it.
