Hey Friends!
We are excited to share that LIFEhouse Parenting Center & Clinic of Douglas is ONE week away from our grand opening! We are incredibly grateful for the prayers, generosity, encouragement, and support we have received from our community throughout this journey.
What began as a vision to bring compassionate, Christ-centered support to women and families in Coffee County is quickly becoming a reality. We are thankful for every person, church, business, and community partner who has helped make this possible. Your support has played an important role in preparing LIFEhouse to serve families with hope, compassion, and the love of Jesus Christ.
Grand Opening Details
Ribbon Cutting: Friday, October 23, at 10:30 AM
Grand Opening Celebration: Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM–2 PM
Location: 210 N. Peterson Avenue, Douglas, GA 31533
Our grand opening celebration will include a diaper and wipes giveaway, a food giveaway, children’s activities, face painting, a bounce house, a cake auction, and opportunities to learn more about our ministry and how to become involved.
How Can You Help?
Many of you have reached out asking how you can help as we prepare to open our doors, and we are so grateful for your willingness to support this ministry!
Our most immediate need is diapers in sizes 4, 5, and 6. We are preparing for both our grand opening diaper giveaway and the ongoing needs of families who will visit LIFEhouse. There are two ways you can help:
For our grand opening diaper giveaway: We are requesting smaller packages containing approximately 32–40 diapers so we can distribute them directly to families during our opening celebration.
For our center’s ongoing needs: Larger-count packages and boxes of diapers in sizes 4, 5, and 6 are needed to help us provide continued assistance to families who visit LIFEhouse.
Whether you are able to donate one package or several boxes, every contribution makes a difference. If you, your church, or your business would like to help meet this need, we would be incredibly grateful!
LIFEhouse exists to uphold the sanctity of human life, empower women facing pregnancy decisions, and offer compassionate support, healing, and hope to mothers and families. Through parenting education, material assistance, pregnancy-related support, and ongoing encouragement, our desire is to walk alongside families and remind them that they do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
As we approach this milestone, we ask that you continue to keep LIFEhouse, our volunteers, and the families we will serve in your prayers. We are trusting the Lord to guide this ministry and use it to make a lasting impact throughout South Georgia.
