Providence School of Tifton is now accepting the Georgia Promise Scholarship, providing up to $6,500 toward tuition for eligible families in Irwin, Turner, and Worth County! 🎓

This scholarship is designed to make private education more accessible, and we are thrilled to share that families in our neighboring communities may qualify. Families zoned for the following schools are eligible for the 2026-2027 academic year:

📍Irwin County: Irwin County Elementary

📍Turner County: Turner County Elementary and Turner County Middle

📍Worth County: Worth County Elementary

The application window for the Fall 2026 semester opens on May 1 and closes on May 31. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled in a Georgia public school for two consecutive semesters or be a rising kindergartner.

Students in Nature Studies planted a variety of flower and vegetable seeds, learning firsthand about the plant life cycle and what it takes to nurture a garden. 🌷

The highlight of the day? A special visit from some fuzzy new friends! 🐥 Students received a fascinating lesson from Mrs. Harris on how to tell the gender of baby chicks. From observing wing feather patterns to checking early development signs, it was a lesson in biological truth and careful observation.

From authors to inventors, Presidents to scholars, our students became “living statues” as they transformed into a Living History Museum, stepped out of the textbooks and into the roles of legendary figures.

This annual event is a highlight for the students as they combine deep research and creative storytelling to showcase their person of history. 🏛️

Our Lower Grammar scholars turned into junior engineers for the ultimate challenge! 🛠️ Each student designed and built their own unique individual project with one goal in mind: keeping a raw, uncooked egg safe from a high-altitude impact.

From parachutes, bubble wrap, or cotton balls, the creativity on display was egg-ceptional! 💡 Students put their creations to the test to see if their engineering could withstand the force of gravity and keep their eggs whole.

It was a day filled with cheers, a few "cracks," and a lot of hands-on learning about physics and problem-solving.

10,000 MEALS PACKED! 📦

What an incredible way to wrap up our annual Love Thy Neighbor campaign! Our students and families came together for a high-energy "Packing Party" to pack 10,000 meals for families in need.

From our youngest students to our older students, it was truly an "all hands on deck" effort as our entire student body worked side-by-side to make an impact. These meals will be sent to help children and families facing food insecurity both locally in Tifton and globally in Bangladesh.
