Hello Steadfast family! Today is $6 Saturdsy at Steadfast Wildlife Rescue, and we have some exciting news to share. Our new NICU building has arrived, bringing us one step closer to providing even better care for the wildlife that depends on us. We are now working to finish the inside of the building and are in need of insulation, flooring, and wall panels to make it safe and functional for our newest and most vulnerable patients.

We are also thrilled to announce that in just a couple of weeks, we expect to have electricity connected at the property. Once everything comes together, we will finally be fully operational with reliable power, allowing us to care for more animals and improve the quality of care we provide every day.

Baby season has hit Steadfast Wildlife Rescue harder and earlier than ever before. Our single NICU unit is no longer enough to safely care for the growing number of orphaned and critical patients arriving daily.
This sweet baby raccoon came to us from St. Marys, GA just 2 weeks ago near death. Today, thanks to intensive care, she is almost unrecognizable.
To keep saving lives like hers, we are leasing an additional building to expand our rehab space and critical care capacity. If you would like to help us make this possible, donations of any amount mean more than you know.

Their sacrifice gave us the freedoms we cherish every single day, and we will never forget the courage they showed for future generations. Steadfast Wildlife Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured and orphaned native wildlife back into their natural habitats. Every year, the rescue takes in hundreds of animals affected by injuries, abandonment, habitat loss, and human activity. Their mission is to give every animal a second chance at life through compassionate care, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and safe release back into the wild. The rescue operates through donations and community support, with many expenses paid directly out of pocket by the team.

Steadfast Wildlife Rescue depends on supporters to continue saving wildlife. Donations help provide formula, food, medical supplies, enclosures, transportation, and emergency care for animals in need. Ways to donate include:

thanks to the incredible support from everyone, we were able to raise $1,228 out of the $1,500 needed for the down payment on a much needed building for our intakes. We are now only $272 away from reaching our goal. This building will give us a safe space to properly care for the wildlife that comes into our hands, stabilize injured and orphaned animals, and help prepare them for their return back into the wild where they belong. Every single donation, share, and prayer is helping us move one step closer to making this happen. We truly cannot do this without all of you.

Steadfast Wildlife Rescue is currently facing a critical moment. We have been receiving a high volume of calls for injured and in need wildlife, and we are quickly becoming overwhelmed with the demand for care. At this time, we are still waiting on Georgia Power to come to the property to install a power pole so we can finally have electricity and properly operate our rescue. Without power, our ability to safely stabilize and treat animals is extremely limited. We are also in urgent need of a large shed or similar structure to serve as an intake and care space, where we can assess, stabilize, and rehabilitate wildlife before releasing them back into their natural habitat.

We are asking our community to please step in and help us during this time. If you are able to donate, share our message, or connect us with resources, contractors, or building materials, it would make a direct difference in saving lives. Every single call we respond to is an animal depending on us, and right now we cannot do this alone.
