Talking about su***de can feel uncomfortable, but understanding the facts can help us support one another and break the stigma around mental health.

Here are a few important things to know:

📊 Su***de is more common than many people realize.
Millions of people experience suicidal thoughts each year, and many are silently struggling.

💬 Talking about su***de does NOT put the idea in someone’s head.
In fact, open conversations can help people feel seen, heard, and supported.

👀 Warning signs are often there — but they can be easy to miss.
Changes in mood, withdrawing from others, talking about feeling like a burden, or giving away belongings can be signs someone may be struggling.

🤝 Connection is one of the most powerful protective factors.
Feeling supported and valued can make a huge difference for someone going through a difficult time.

❤️ Help is available, and recovery is possible.
Many people who struggle with suicidal thoughts go on to find hope, healing, and purpose with the right support.

This week, take a moment to check in with someone on your team. A simple conversation can make more of a difference than you might realize.
