Live Music This Sunday at Old St. Hilary’s

Join us Sunday, October 4 at 4 p.m. for an afternoon of beautiful jazz with the Ben Stolorow Trio.

Bay Area pianist and composer Ben Stolorow is known for his lyrical touch, introspective style, and deep connection to the jazz tradition. We’re delighted to welcome the trio for what promises to be a memorable afternoon of music.

Presented by the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society with generous support from the Tiburon Heritage & Arts Commission and The Belvedere Land Company.

Tickets $25, general and $20, seniors/youths: advance purchase available at the Landmarks Office and Ticketleap.com
Tickets will be available at the door (if not sold out) will be $30 & $25, starting at 3:30 pm.

Free parking for this event is at the Boardwalk Shopping Center, 1550 Tiburon Boulevard, where a shuttle car will drive you to the concert. Shuttles begin at 3:30 pm in front of Rustic Bakery. Only limited handicapped parking is available at Old St. Hilary’s.

Thanks to our incredible community of supporters, we made our match and then some!

Together, you helped us raise an amazing $51,480 in honor of the China Cabin’s 160th anniversary, a tremendous show of support for preserving this extraordinary piece of Tiburon Peninsula history for generations to come.

This Sunday, September 13th at 4pm San Francisco based, Black Cedar Trio will perform music by Bach, Piazzolla and Hungarian songs and folk dances by Nathan Kolosko at Old St. Hilary. Black Cedar are: Steve Lin, guitar, Kris Palmer, flute, and Tyler DeVigal, cello. Black Cedar has won awards from the Zellerbach Foundation, the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music, and the National Flute Association for their innovative approach to both new and old music.

This historic photograph, taken around 1905, shows the Tiburon and Belvedere waterfront with the railroad yard in the foreground and the former Corinthian Yacht Club house perched at the tip of Corinthian Island. Much has changed, but the shoreline still holds the stories of the people, places, and industries that shaped our community.

Join the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society aboard the ferryboat Tamalpais for a special members only evening cruise through local history.

Originally built in 1866 as the social lounge above the dining room of the Paddle Steamship China, this remarkable landmark has endured through generations because people cared enough to preserve it. Today, we are proud to continue that legacy.

Calling all artists! Grab your paints, sketchbook, or favorite medium and join us for a relaxing Plein Air Art Session led by local artist Jennifer Fearon!

Thursday, July 30th: 10am-2pm at the Landmarks Art & Garden Center: 841 Tiburon Blvd., Tiburon.

All experience levels and styles are welcome. Spend the day creating in our beautiful gardens, connecting with fellow artists, and finding inspiration outdoors. Bring your own supplies.
