Big shift happening at the federal level.

The ATF has reportedly updated firearm forms to recognize the new federal status of state legal medical ma*****na after rescheduling. Thatโ€™s a major change from years of treating medical cannabis patients like criminals.

Veterans should never have to choose between their medicine and their constitutional rights.

Many veterans use medical cannabis for PTSD, chronic pain, sleep, and recovery from opioids or alcohol. They deserve compassion and protection, not outdated stigma.

This is progress but Not Justice. The fight isnโ€™t over. Patients still need full federal protections for fi****ms, employment, housing, VA access, and parental rights and in Ohio your obviously considered "subpar human" and denied an organ transplant if your a cannabis user... Let that set in๐Ÿ™Œ

A federal agency is proposing to update a gun purchase form to acknowledge the federally legal status of medical ma*****na under the Trump administrationโ€™s recent move to reschedule the drug. The Bureau of Alcohol, To***co, Fi****ms and Explosives (ATF) on Friday posted a proposed revised version ...

The primary issues for Ohio Veteran's under SB 56 include:
Stripped Civil Protections: The bill rolled back voter-approved safeguards, meaning veterans can now be legally fired or denied housing and even organ transplant list placement for using cannabis, even if they have a medical card.

Recriminalization of Out-of-State Medicine: Veterans living near state lines (like the Michigan border) now face criminal charges if they bring legally purchased cannabis into Ohio. SB 56 makes it a crime to possess any cannabis not sourced from an Ohio-licensed dispensary.

Transportation "Traps": Carrying medicine in anything other than its original, unopened packaging is now a minor misdemeanor. Furthermore, it must be stored in the vehicle's trunk; if there is no trunk, it must be behind the last upright seat.

Lower Potency Caps: SB 56 reduced the maximum THC levels for extracts and concentrates from 90% to 70%. For many veterans managing chronic pain or severe PTSD symptoms, this narrow "therapeutic window" may make finding effective products more difficult.

Ban on H**p-Derived Alternatives: The bill effectively banned many lower-cost h**p-derived products (like CBD/THC combos) outside of dispensaries. Many veterans used these unregulated products for sobriety maintenance or stress management when they couldn't afford dispensary prices.

Ongoing VA Limitations: Despite state changes, federal law still prevents VA doctors from recommending or prescribing medical ma*****na. While they can discuss its use with you, they cannot fill out state certification forms, and you are strictly prohibited from bringing cannabis onto VA property. ~D.L Ohiocannabisexpo

A little-noticed provision tucked into the federal spending bill signed by President Trump could upend a booming industry โ€” by banning many. There is an arguable basis for a legal challenge that the wording of the recent federal h**p-legislation could indirectly affect state medical-cannabis programs. Itโ€™s not guaranteed that such programs would become illegal, but the wording opens up plausible grounds for a fight. the state medical-cannabis program overlaps with or relies upon the excluded category.

A medical cannabis program in a state often allows cannabis products with levels of THC (or converted THCA) that might exceed the new โ€œh**pโ€ limits โ€” or may include cannabinoids the federal law now treats as non-h**p.

If a state law simply treats a product as lawful under โ€œmedical cannabisโ€ without explicitly ensuring it meets the newly redefined federal h**p standard (or avoids the excluded cannabinoid types), an argument might be made that under federal law the product (or program) is now incompatible.the wording creates a federal standard that either pre-empts or invalidates aspects of the state program.

The challenge might assert that by redefining h**p and excluding certain cannabinoid derivatives, Congress has implied that those excluded substances must be treated as controlled substances (i.e., โ€œma*****naโ€ under the Controlled Substances Act or equivalent) or otherwise subject to federal prohibition.

If so, then a state program that permits possession/sale of those substances (even in a medical context) could be argued to be operating illegally under federal law โ€” thereby exposing the state program to federal enforcement or voiding of federal protections. THC-infused products, like gummies, drinks, topical pain relief and vapes, now found everywhere from gas stations to wellness shops.

H**p, a derivative of the cannabis plant, was legalized in the 2018 Farm Bill. It created a loophole for THC to be sold in low doses and exploded in the mainstream consumer market.there is an arguable basis for a legal challenge that the wording of the recent federal h**p-legislation could indirectly affect state medical-cannabis programs. Itโ€™s not guaranteed that such programs would become illegal, but the wording opens up plausible grounds for a fight.

The U.S. H**p Roundtable warns that the decision โ€œthreatens to eliminate Americaโ€™s $28.4 billion h**p industry and jeopardizes more than 300,000 American jobs.โ€ The group estimates the move would wipe out 95% of the market, shut down small businesses and farms nationwide, and cost states $1.5 billion in tax revenue.

RED ALERT!! Ohio Veteran's Alliance for Medical Cannabis ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today the Ohio Senate is voting to pass SB 56, a bill criminalizing cannabis that the House has already approved last week.

Gov. DeWine is expected to sign this bill in the coming weeks to make it law.

Your elected officials hate you and are being influenced by corporate influence & greed.

This is going to criminalize many aspects of legal cannabis in Ohio, including felony level penalties.

Please read this NORML article in full to understand what is going on in Ohio.

Mid-term elections are upon us, and these elected officials need to be reminded who they work for by being removed from public office.

We will post as much info as we can, as well as a list of all of these elected officials who voted against The People, in favor of corporate influence and greed.

This is all very bad news for legalization here in Ohio.

Explain to me this ....Executive Order against a Federal Issue and Farm Bill that protects business. He's lost his mind. This is what he's doing ๐Ÿคฌ he's inciting Civil disruption and planting seeds of rebellion to disrupt the peace because the party can't change the that's considered rather treasonous. ๐Ÿคฌ
