Uplift VC Uplift VC is a community initiative designed to support people working to overcome barriers and achieve financial self-sufficiency.

Uplift VC is dedicated to building self-sufficiency in our community through mentoring, encouragement and education. Our regular meetings consist of a meal, presentation on a topic of interest to our members (with childcare provided) and individual sessions to discuss goals, obstacles and achievements. We believe this relationship-based model is an effective approach to overcoming financial hardsh

ip facing individuals and families in our community. Volunteers known as Allies come alongside people working to change their lives (Protégés). Allies may give financial planning advice, professional networking assistance or simply encouragement and a listening ear. We focus on positivity and goal setting, in a community environment that celebrates successes big and small.
