Sharro Scholars Scholarship Applications Are Now Open

The Coolie Myrick Foundation is proud to announce that the Sharro Scholars Scholarship application is now open and available online at www.cooliemyrickfoundation/sharro-scholar.

This scholarship was created to support graduating seniors as they take their next step toward higher education, and we’re honored to continue that mission each year.

Students can now complete the process in just a few steps:
• Download the application from our website
• Complete all required sections
• Submit your application and supporting documents online
• Have your school counselor submit your official transcript through the designated link

I thank Big God for this moment. 🙏🏾

I was truly surprised and deeply humbled to receive the Mike Carrington Volunteer of the Year Award at the 54th Annual Chamber Banquet. To be recognized among so many who serve this community means more than I can put into words.

This award honors those who consistently go above and beyond, and I’ve always believed serving others is simply part of the calling. Everything I do is for the betterment of our community, to help make it a stronger place to live, work, and enjoy.

What a blessing and a powerful way to start the year. Grateful for the honor and committed to continuing the work. 🙏🏾

New year, same calling.

As the calendar turns, our mission stays the same. Serve with purpose. Lead with heart. Give back without hesitation. We are walking into this season with faith, focus, and a commitment to do the work that matters most.

CHRISTMAS DRIVE UPDATE!

We thank God for every opportunity to give and serve. Due to limited bike donations this year, all bikes have been pre-assigned to families who were identified in advance.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Only those families who were contacted are asked to meet us today at Pitt Street Park at 12:00 PM with their children.

Thank you for your understanding and grace as we work to serve with purpose and integrity. We are already looking ahead and working to better serve more families in the future.
