📣 LegenDeary Memorial Softball Tournament Update

We’re sad to share that we were unable to secure a date for this year’s LegenDeary Memorial Softball Tournament. While we’ll miss gathering with you all this September, please know that we’ll be back in 2026, and we’re already looking forward to it!

Even without the tournament this year, the LegenDeary Memorial Scholarship will still be awarded to a deserving Tourtellotte senior to continue the tradition of honoring Niles’ legacy and love for community.

As Niles’ birthday approaches, we ask that you celebrate his memory in a way he would’ve loved: by committing a random act of kindness. Big or small, it all makes a difference.

And who knows… maybe we’ll get a Red Sox October run to cheer for, too. ⚾️

📣📣📣 We are BEYOND excited to announce that The Sixth Annual LegenDeary Memorial Scholarship Softball Tournament raised a total of 💥 $4,500 💥 !!!!!

In our sixth year, we fought the rain, but still exceeded last year’s fundraiser total!! That speaks volumes to the kindness and support of all who contribute to this event and scholarship, year after year. It also speaks to the impression that Niles left on everyone who knew him.

This year hit a little harder for us, as Niles would have celebrated his 30th birthday in August. To say we miss him just doesn’t do it justice. We know so many of you can relate.

To know Niles was to love him.

Please just know, from the bottom of our hearts, how grateful we are for your ongoing support. The LegenDeary Memorial Scholarship will continue for years to come thanks to all of you 🙏🏼💙

That’s a wrap on year 6️⃣! 🥎

🙏🏼 Words can’t express how much we appreciate all of the players, umpires, family, and friends who came out to support and make this year a huge success!! We were able to play all of of the games, thanks to our players and volunteer umpires for sticking it out even with a little rain. Niles came through with the weather and we had a great day, just the way he would want it!

🥇 All five teams played great despite the rain, but one team came out on top.. CONGRATULATIONS to our 2023 LegenDeary Memorial Scholarship Softball Tournament Champions, THE HOULEIGANS!!! 🎉🥳

🏆 With this being our SIXTH year, we were SO excited to present the Deary family with a commemorative trophy engraved with the first five winners of the LegenDeary Memorial Tournament. This trophy is a small token of our appreciation to the Deary family for allowing us to honor the amazing person that Niles was with the annual LegenDeary Memorial Scholarship and softball tournament. It is also to remember and thank every person who has played, volunteered, came to spectate, donated, shared, or supported to this event and scholarship in any way over the years. We truly cannot say thank you enough. 💙

🤩 We will be announcing the total funds raised from this year’s event once we sell out of the remaining 2023 LEGENDEARY HOODIES! 🔥 We have a few available in sizes S, M, & L!
