Today, Fr. Vic celebrated his final school Mass with the students and faculty of St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School. Over the past 7½ years, Fr. Vic has helped shape our students, faculty, and school community through his faith, guidance, compassion, and love.

Following Mass, Fr. Vic was presented with a special fingerprint canvas of St. Joseph created by our students and staff. The painting’s description beautifully captures its meaning:

“Created with love by the students and faculty of St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School, this fingerprint canvas represents the lasting impact Fr. Vic has made on our school family. Each fingerprint symbolizes a child, a teacher, a memory, and a life touched through his faith, guidance, and love. Together, these individual marks became one beautiful work of art — just as Fr. Vic helped unite our school community in faith and fellowship.”

Thank you, Fr. Vic, for the countless ways you have touched our lives and strengthened our school family. Your legacy will forever remain a part of St. Joseph. We love you and will miss you dearly. 💙

Join us TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 15th from 4:00–8:00 PM at Raising Cane’s (301 Canal Blvd) and help support St. Joseph Elementary—all while enjoying a night off from cooking 🙌

St. Joseph’s has talent—and the best community! 🙌

We are still smiling after a fantastic Family Day hosted by PTC! We were blessed with perfect weather for Mass on campus, a wonderful community lunch prepared by the Men’sClub, and an unforgettable talent show.

We want to extend a special thank you to the supporters St. Joseph PTC. It is because of your continued support and generosity that we are able to host these special days for our school.

Kickoff to Catholic Schools Week! 💛

Thank you to every student who participated in and attended Mass this morning at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. The readers were excellent, and the music was truly incredible. A special thank-you to the Men’s Club for providing donuts after Mass 🍩

Congratulations to Bevi J. Fontenot, who was honored as Distinguished Graduate of the Year. We are so grateful for all that you do and for the way you allow Christ to lead you. You are truly an example to all.

Our students are also busy fundraising for their annual Color Run! Every donation benefits St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School and helps support school programs that enrich our students’ educational and faith-filled experience.

Today, we celebrate our Church Parish. It was an honor for our students to celebrate Mass alongside the members of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Our parish provides guidance and support to our students throughout the year, and we are deeply thankful.

Tomorrow, we celebrate our community. As we look ahead to inclement weather, we pray that our community remains safe. May God watch over and protect everyone, especially the most vulnerable. 🙏

Please join St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School as we kick off Catholic Schools Week with 9:30 a.m. Mass today at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.
Immediately following Mass, the St. Joseph Men’s Club will provide donuts for all students 🍩
Later today at 1:00 p.m., the Men’s Club will host a Fatherhood Conference: Raising Catholic Kids in Today’s World in the school library. All fathers are strongly encouraged to attend—this will be a meaningful and timely discussion.
With bitter cold temperatures expected tonight, we encourage everyone to come out and participate today while you can!
