Hi everyone,

We have three auction items up for grabs. I'll try to make this brief.

To place a bid, simply email Kent ([email protected]) and let me know the amount you wish to bid for a particular item.
I will confirm that I received your bid.
If someone outbids you, I will let you know via email.
The bidding for all three items will close this Friday (October 14th) at 4pm Central time so you only have a few days.
Highest bid wins.

Items are:
1. Houston Texans package: Kareem Jackson autographed Texans jersey, Texans RTIC tumbler, Jackson autographed miniature football.
2. Houston Dynamo package: Team autographed jersey, voucher for 4 tickets to one game and access to sideline before game.
3. Disney on Ice suite: Luxury suite for 16 people

See attachments for pictures and details on each item.

Good luck and remember, this is all for a great cause. All of the proceeds from the winning bids go directly to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Thanks,
Kent

Good news to share. Noah's bone marrow biopsy came back showing no leukemia and only a slight abnormality in his cells. This is great news after being told his T-cells were not functioning properly. We still have more immunology test results we are waiting for and we know that we have challenges ahead. Here is what we know so far. Because of his immune system problems, we were told that Noah is at severe risk of getting very sick. So the plan is to start IVIG treatments again. IVIG is an intravenous blood product (the immunoglobulin element of donors' blood) The hospital will be teaching us how to administer this at home weekly and indefinitely. He will also be getting inhaled antibiotic treatments monthly. After everything he has been through, we can do this. The leg biopsy ended up being much larger than we anticipated but that only means they were making sure that any active cells were gone. We are not worried about these results. We still have a long road ahead but we are incredibly grateful for this good news and will accept any future diagnosis that we are told. We just want our son to be happy and live the life God intended for him. Thank you again for the encouragement and prayers. 🐸

Believing firmly in the power of prayer...today we are asking for prayers for Noah. After receiving concerning tests results from immunology, we head to Texas Children's in the morning. Noah will undergo a bone marrow biopsy, as well as a biopsy for a spot on his leg. We remain positive while praying for good results and fast healing! 🐸

Hi Friends,
Team Noah is up and running again this year, although not at the pace we’ve experienced in prior years. First of all, Noah is doing great. He attends school on a modified schedule and we still visit Texas Children’s Hospital on a regular basis for checkups and other therapies. But overall, we continue to be blessed with good health.

Our normal planning routine for the annual fundraiser was put on hold this summer because of some hiccups we experienced. Nothing bad, just life experiences that needed our attention.

So we have two important dates for you to place on your calendar.

October 10th 6th Annual Fundraiser at Papa’s Ice House. Please join us October 10th from 4-7pm at Papa's Ice House in Spring, TX. Yes, we are still having a fundraiser but it will not be at the level we’ve had in the past. No raffle items, no auction items. However, there will be BBQ plates and community fellowship where we can spend time together and raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We will have door prize drawings at Papa’s so come on out, purchase a BBQ plate and then see if your name gets called for a prize. Prizes will be drawn every 30 minutes starting at 4:30pm and ending at 7pm.

See the attached flyer. We hope to see you all there!

Typically our fundraiser makes up a majority of the money we donate to LLS. However, this year we will be relying heavily on online donations via the Team Noah website (link is below). If you usually attend the fundraiser and bid on auction items, purchase raffle tickets or buy t-shirts, please consider donating online as we will not be having them at the fundraiser this year. Any amount matters. $5, $10, $20…it all makes a difference. Also, in 2014 we decided to use the Team Noah shirt design as the “forever” shirt. This means we plan on using that same design for 2015 and future years. Email us if you want to order a shirt.

October 18th LLS Light the Night Walk at Market Street. Please join us at the walk on October 18th at Market Street in The Woodlands. It is a fantastic family event!

5:30pm Festivities Begin
6:30pm Opening Ceremony
7:15pm Walk Begins

Use the link below to join the team as a walker. If you are out of town, please consider donating towards the cause.

The link below is for donating and registering to walk.

Thanks to you, Team Noah has raised over $115,000 in the fight against blood cancer. People ask us why we continue to work so hard on these events. It does take a lot of time and effort but we do it because there are many people seeking hope in that someday there will be a cure. We want to see that day come and then say we were a part of history and helped to make it happen.

Please join us in this fight.

The Bratsch Family - Kent, Amy, Sam, Nick and Noah
