When you join us for our Back-to-School Family Movie Fundraiser, you’re also helping put funding directly into local classrooms.

One of the programs supported by NWCEF is our Classroom Mini-Grants, which give North Wasco County teachers funding for creative, hands-on projects and learning opportunities for their students.

That’s what this fundraiser is really about: getting our community together for a fun afternoon while raising money that goes back to students and teachers right here in our district.

The North Wasco County Education Foundation is excited to announce the recipients of our Spring 2026 Classroom Mini-Grants!

This spring, NWCEF awarded $7,265 to educators across North Wasco County School District 21 to support innovative, hands-on, and student-centered learning opportunities for local students.

Funded projects include:
🔬 STEM & science exploration
🎭 Performing arts & literacy
🌱 Outdoor learning & gardens
🥁 Student wellness & engagement
🌎 Cultural enrichment experiences
🧩 Sensory support tools
✨ And so much more!

From chick hatcheries and cardio drumming to mobile planetariums and cultural cooking labs, these projects highlight the incredible creativity and dedication of D21 educators.

A huge thank you to our community supporters and to Google for their continued investment in local education. Their support has helped us significantly expand this program and continue investing directly into classrooms and student learning opportunities throughout our district.

Congratulations to all of our Spring 2026 mini-grant recipients!
