strives to support student athletes with free year round sports programs that teach core values and skills that translate on and off the court. Our goal is to help develop their upstanding character traits that include, but are not limited to, dedication, leadership, and camaraderie. We believe our youth deserve the opportunities to be better in their primary sport and in their future careers.

💙 Celebrating National Intern Day at We Got Next! 💙

Today, we’re highlighting Alhoson, whose journey with WGX is a reminder of exactly why we do this work.

Alhoson has been part of the WGX family since 6th grade, and now, as he prepares to enter 9th grade, he’s stepping into a new role with us as an intern. Watching a young person grow from a participant into someone ready to learn, lead, and give back is something we truly appreciate.

His testimonial is authentic because he’s experienced WGX firsthand. He’s grown with us, built relationships with us, and now has the opportunity to help shape the same type of experiences for the young people coming behind him.

This is what youth development looks like. This is what We Got Next is about. 🏀💙

🏀 She Got Next Initiative

She Got Next is the girls empowerment division of We Got Next (WGX), created to provide girls with a safe, inclusive, and supportive space to grow both on and off the court.

Through sports, leadership development, mentorship, wellness activities, and life-skills programming, She Got Next helps girls build confidence, strengthen their voices, develop healthy habits, and discover their full potential. Our goal is to break down barriers, create opportunities, and ensure every girl has access to positive role models, quality programming, and experiences that inspire her to lead.

At She Got Next, we believe the next generation of leaders, athletes, entrepreneurs, and changemakers is already here—she just needs the opportunity to shine.

Because when girls are given the space to grow, everyone wins. 💪🏽✨

Introducing the We Got Next afterschool program in partnership with New Design Middle school and DYCD. Welcome to the new era of Extended Day Programs at NDMS! The most innovative programming in the community. We can wait Harlem!

Thank you everyone for continued support for all the programs that we have been able to establish in our community. We are now pursuing major funding sources and donations to increase our reach and continue to expand programs for the youth.

With expansion comes room for new volunteers as well. If you are interested in helping out in anyway please feel free to reach out to us. Many many announcements in the coming weeks.
