Ashdown Public Schools

Congratulations to Mia Barnes on receiving the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen pin, presented by Cassie Turner.
The DAR Good Citizen award and pin recognize high school seniors who demonstrate dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities.

Mia plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University this fall, where she hopes to be a member of the band and perform with the color guard team. She is also interested in the Disney College Program, which she will be eligible to apply for once she turns 18. Mia’s goals, positive attitude, and excitement for new opportunities are just a few of the reasons she is so deserving of this honor.
