Exciting times ahead for our Pre-K and Kindergarten students! To ensure a smooth and personalized start, Allen Parish Schools will be implementing staggered schedules for our youngest learners. Important details regarding your child's specific start date and time will be sent directly from their school. Please watch for letters, JCall messages, or other school announcements. Get ready for a great year! 🍎✏️

‼️NEW POLICY FOR DOCTOR EXCUSES‼️

🚨New Policy for Doctors' Excuses🚨

Effective August 12, 2025, APSB will require doctors' offices, urgent care centers, hospitals, and other medical providers to email student excuses directly to your child's school. This means that printed excuses from these medical facilities will no longer be accepted when submitted by parents or students.

This new procedure will help ensure the timely and accurate submission of medical documentation for your child's attendance records.

Please note: This new procedure applies to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Pre-K students will continue to follow their existing excuse submission procedures.

We encourage you to inform your healthcare providers of this new policy so they can be prepared to email excuses directly to the school. Each school will provide its specific email address for this purpose.

📢 Important Update for APSB Families! 📢

Starting with the 2025-26 school year, all Allen Parish School Board student progress reports and report cards will be digital! This eco-friendly change means you'll have easy, instant access to your child's progress through the Student Progress Center.

Need a printed copy? No problem! Just contact your child's school to request one.

📌Communication with your child's teacher(s)

🚨Student progress center will be reactivated on August 1st. If you have previously created an account, you should be able to log in at that time.
