Great news for the City of Terre Haute and West Central Indiana! Earlier this year, new estimates showed Vigo County’s population is growing, and now newly released U.S. Census Bureau data shows the City of Terre Haute added 234 of those residents over the past year, more than double the previous growth rate.

This is exciting momentum for our community and another sign that Terre Haute is moving in the right direction. We are proud of the work happening through the See You In Terre Haute Community Plan and thankful for the many local partners helping drive growth and investment across our city and region.

The data also shows growth in other West Central Indiana cities, highlighting positive momentum happening across the region. Let’s keep working together to build an even stronger future for West Central Indiana.
