No one knows what's coming next...So, we took a trip. On the way here, I looked in the back seats to see my kids giggling and playing car games. It was a beautiful thing the see. Something we won’t see again for a long time.

Next week Joshua will get admitted to the hospital for the next 5 months for a bone marrow transplant.

3 months ago, when this started, I could never have predicted any of this. The truth is, no one knows what's coming.

Take the time to listen for the laughs and giggles of your children. Take time to enjoy your family and friends. Watch the sunset. You never get time back. It's the only currency that you don't know how much you have, you can't get anymore, and you can only spend once. God has put you here for a reason. Your life has a purpose. Take time to discover that purpose. Don't waste the time God has given you.

Waiting for the call back to surgery for the bone Marrow Biopsy. This is a big moment. One of those moments where you are at a crossroad and the choice isn't up to you. God puts you on the path and tells you to trust Him with the outcome. This has been a difficult process up to this point. It's shown me a lot of my weaknesses and some strengths I didn't know I had. It's forced our whole family to have to refocus on what really matters. I have been distracted for a while. I personally have spent a great deal of time and energy trying to get a seat at a table that Jesus probably would have turned over if he were in the room (Matthew 21:12-17). Life is short. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. Don't waste your time on things that don't matter. We all have a purpose, find out why God has you here. God only has set number of sunsets planned for you. Don't waste them.
