RIP Burt ….. Burt was a senior GP and hus organs just began shutting down…. He (and his brother who recently passed away) were with us for many years! They were busy little guys and really enjoyed life! This is all we can ask for isn’t it? So now Ernie and Burt are together once again!!!

This is absolutely picture perfect! My dear friend gave me a beautiful pink floral arrangement when Penelope the Pig passed away….I kept it in my office because I didn’t want anything to happen to it….well when I looked at it last week I knew where it was going….in Whiskerville! I caught this amazing shot of PeekaBoo looking at it after I put it up!! The pink flowers complimented the pink all thruout PeekaBoo and Panini’s House!! Now I can admire it and truly enjoy it!!

Our family came for a visit in the summer (from KY and NC)… the kids loved all the animals! They were so good with them!! Asked awesome questions and really enjoyed the tour!!
But the biggest hit was the baby box turtle that had hatched right here at the sanctuary!! Our Great -Nephew Henry named him Darwin!!!!
Watching them interact with the turtles/tortoises gave me hope! So many thanks to the Shulte Family and Boes Family for making this get together amazing!! Zoe, Jalen, Larry and Mae enjoyed the snacks big time!!
