It is trusting.

In the wild, closing your eyes means danger.
It means vulnerability.
It means surrender.

So when a horse rests its head near your shoulder and lets its eyes fall shut…
That is not habit.
That is a gift.

It is saying:
“I believe you will keep watch.”
“I believe I am safe here.”
“I believe in you.”

And in a world where trust is rare —
That quiet moment is sacred.

A donation will help in many ways buy a bag of grain, pay board or a round of hay. We can't thank you enough for your continued support with our rescue and helping the horses in our sanctuary.

With winter right around the corner the horses require more calories which means our bills go up. We reach out to you as we are self funded and could really need some support.

Any gently used turnout blankets will be put to good use.

$150 is our daily cost to care for the 11 horses that we currently house.

$18 will buy a bag of grain for our seniors
$50 will buy a round bale of hay
$8 will buy a square bale of hay
$23 will buy a bag of essential k for everyone's vitamin intake.
