The Women’s Army Corps Veterans’ Association was established in 1951, it remains the only women veterans’ organization chartered by Congress. WACVA Saguaro Chapter 68 was chartered by the national organization in 1984. Membership includes those who served in World War II to current day. Community Projects we are involved in:

- Women Veterans Health Expos
- Wreaths

Across America
- Quilts by Rosemary for Women Vets at the State Home
- Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) Recognition Program
- Various other causes

The 14th of August is Navajo Code Talkers Day. While this historical accounting is dated, it is a fascinating bit of history that these brave men were forbidden to tell for many years. Remember that many of our Navajo vets who are female are also Marines to this day.
