A Flag for Every Hero.

Memorial Day stands as a solemn connection between the comfort of our everyday lives and the profound expense of the freedom that makes those lives possible. It is a day to reflect beyond the parades and gatherings to the quiet, sacred grounds where the courageous lie in eternal rest. These men and women, who answered the call to duty, traded the promise of a long future for the safety and sovereignty of a nation they may not have fully known. Their ultimate sacrifice forms the foundation of our democracy, a debt that can never be fully repaid. As an annual tradition, the Men of Kappa Alpha Psi place flags at the headstones to acknowledge their sacrifice. As we observe this day of remembrance, we do not merely mourn the loss of individual lives; we celebrate the Heroes.
