Our younger scouts — Dragons, Lions, Tigers, and Wolves — focused on conservation, discovering the importance of taking care of our environment and how even small actions can make a big difference.

Our older scouts — Bears, Webelos, and AOLs — worked on knife safety, learning proper handling, responsibility, and respect for tools. Safety is always our top priority, and they did a great job taking this seriously while building their skills.

Some of our scouts had the opportunity to deliver discount cards to the Middlesboro Police Department, and it was an experience we will never forget.

We want to give a huge thank you to officer Johnson for taking the time to stop and talk with us, making our scouts feel so welcomed, and answering all the questions they had about what they do each day. The kids loved learning more about their work and seeing firsthand the dedication it takes to serve our community.

Moments like this are a great reminder of how important it is to appreciate and support our local first responders. We are so thankful for everything they do, and we’re grateful our scouts were able to be part of such a special experience. 🚓💙

Here are a few more photos of our scouts delivering discount cards to our local first responders. After a long day of selling, this is something they truly look forward to.

Seeing the smiles on their faces as they hand out the cards and say thank you makes it all worth it. We are so proud of these scouts for giving back to the people who serve and protect our community every day. 🚑🚓

Not only has Pack 508 been selling $10 discount cards, they have also been collecting donations for our local first responders. After we finish selling for the night, the scouts use those donation funds to purchase cards and personally deliver them to our local first responders.

The scouts had a blast visiting our local EMS — asking questions, learning about what they do, and of course hearing the sirens! 🚑

We are so thankful for the opportunity to give back and cannot thank our local first responders enough for the hard work and dedication they show our community every single day.
