A teacher, labor leader, fierce advocate for families and education, Taunton School Committee member and MA State Representative; Carol Doherty was an unrivaled public servant before her death from pancreatic cancer in 2025.

Having a great time chatting with this year’s recipients of the Carol Doherty Foundation scholarships.

Congratulations and all the best to Cameron Pimental and Class President Alexa Rinehart.

Cameron is headed to UMass Dartmouth to study Psychology and Business. He’s planning to start his own sport psychology practice.

Alexa will be going to UMass Amherst (Phil and Barry’s Alma Mater) to study Marketing. She’s looking forward to a career in sales or political marketing.
