Scripture: “You are all one in Christ Jesus.” — Galatians 3:28
“You who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” — Ephesians 2:13
Thought: Koinonia begins with life. We share eternal life. We share adoption. We share access to the Father. We are one family under one name. That means there is something deeper binding us than personality, preference, or politics. It is blood-bought unity.
And not just life, but faith. In Christ, we believe the same gospel. We trust the same Savior. We stand on the same Word. In a fractured culture obsessed with identity politics and tribal divisions, the church stands as a counter-cultural miracle.
The fellowship of believers is not fragile when it is anchored in Christ. It is only fragile when it is anchored in preference. The unity of the church is not maintained by comfort. It is maintained by conviction.
Reflection: What secondary issues have you allowed to weaken primary unity? In your church? Your marriage? At work? In your home?
Call to Action: Choose unity over preference this week. Lay down something small for the sake of something eternal.
Prayer: “Spirit of God, protect our unity. Anchor my heart in what is eternal, not what is temporary. Amen.”
