Today Terry Doan and I (Will Wagner-Hart) attended both US Naturalization ceremonies at the US Federal Courthouse for the Middle District. This was a very moving ceremony for everyone - and all seemed appreciative of the ability to become US citizens. Many enjoyed also being able to take pictures with us lol.

This afternoon the Hillsborough River Camp Color Guard, Tampa Chapter SAR participated in presenting the Colors and leading the procession of veterans at the 2026 Lifepath Veterans Honor Walk. What an honor that was to do that for them. Thank you for the invite Christina Brazeley.

Hello Members & Friends,

Our long time Tampa Chapter member & officer Bob Yarnell is currently at Life Care Rehabilitation center. He has been in the hospital for several weeks & recently moved to Life Care.

I am asking a favor from all of you to please send Bob a card letting him know to get well & he is being thought of & prayers are being sent for healing.

Bob is allowed to have visitors & phone calls.

Event #2 for the day... East Pasco Celebrates America 250. Hillsborough River Camp posted the Colors for the evening event. Really enjoyable patriotic community get-together for the county.

Hillsborough River Camp and Samuel Adams Camp members participated in the Safety Harbour 4th of July parade today. Huzzah! Thank you to Walter Keller and the Historical Military Vehicle Association for the invite and ride to the parade.

The Hillsborough River Camp (Tampa Chapter SAR) Color Guard presented (and retired) the Colors at the US District Courthouse for the Federal Bar Association's America 250 Celebration in Tampa yesterday.

Some of the Tampa Color Guard joined others of the Color Guard members in Wauchula for a America 250 in the Heartland Event. Fun enjoyable evening for all. Very patriotic. Huzzah!

In celebration of America's 250th birthday, USPS is releasing a patriotic stamp honoring the Declaration of Independence. The stamp spells out "1776" with iconic feather quills like those used by founding fathers to sign the historic document.
