What began in 2017 as a simple act of kindness—offering a pillow to a homeless man on Dale Mabry—has grown into a nonprofit, Pillow Power Project. Today, we filled not only our hearts, but several carts of brand-new pillows to support incredible local organizations like .

Joshua House offers a safe, nurturing, family-style home for children and teens who have faced abuse, abandonment, or neglect. Through specialized care, life skills training, and academic support, they help young people heal and create brighter futures. Their life-changing mission depends on community generosity—through volunteer efforts, donations, and continued support. If you can, please consider lending a hand. We’re grateful to share a little comfort this holiday week by donating several dozen new pillows to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch in Safety Harbor—a place where the youth can grow up in a safe, caring, and family-oriented environment. This wonderful organization uplifts at-risk youth through programs that strengthen their sense of purpose, confidence, and hope.

Mary & Martha House is a vital sanctuary! They operate emergency and transitional housing, as well as support services, for abused and homeless women and their dependent children. Our delivery this past weekend will provide new pillows to several dozen families escaping domestic violence and facing homelessness.

Pillow Power Project delivered a truckload of new pillows to New Life Warehouse yesterday. At NL Warehouse, their team assist families from homelessness and help them start over with in kind donations. With our donation of over 6 dozen new pillows, it warms our heart to know that some families will get a good nights rest.

If you have any household items you’d like to donate, please drop off at NLW located in Oldsmar or schedule a pick up.

Pillow Power Project has partnered with a local organization, New Life Warehouse, to help families recovering from homelessness.

Thank you to CrossFit Westchase for giving us the opportunity to host a pillow drive at their Oldsmar location. Please consider adding a new standard size pillow or two to your shopping list to help those in need in our community and drop off at CFWC by July 21st.
