Our AIA LU/HSW CEU presentation will dive into the forces shaping the building—from wind tunnel testing and deep foundations to waterproofing elevated pool decks and life-safety systems required for Certificate of Occupancy.

And because this is CSI Tampa… we’ll follow it with our annual Topgolf networking night.

What a night in Ybor City.
Firehouse Reimagined was a powerful reminder of why adaptive reuse matters and why coming together in spaces with history elevates the conversation.

Thank you to everyone who joined CSI Tampa Bay at Sky Puppy Brewing for an engaging evening of learning, storytelling, and connection. From the guided tour to the thoughtful insights shared by the owner, architects, interior designers, and project collaborators, the event brought to life how a historic firehouse can be responsibly transformed for a new generation.

Earning 1.0 AIA HSW Learning Unit, attendees explored fire and life safety strategies, accessibility, sustainability through adaptive reuse, and the collaborative effort required to make a project like this successful—while experiencing the space exactly as it was intended: active, welcoming, and full of character.

CSI Tampa Bay is officially an Outstanding Chapter!

With great pride and deep gratitude, we share the news that CSI Tampa Bay has received the Outstanding Chapter Commendation Award (OCC) for the first time.

This recognition represents far more than a certificate. It reflects the commitment of our members and volunteers and the growing network of professionals who believe in what we do: advancing education, fostering collaboration, and celebrating the value of a well-done project.

In just the past year, we’ve expanded our programs, strengthened partnerships across the industry, and built momentum through education, leadership, and connection. Every step has been guided by purpose, from CEUs that keep us sharp to tours that tell the stories behind Tampa’s most innovative projects to events that bring architects, engineers, contractors, and students together.
