This summer, ride the waves of life and all the ebbs and flows that come to each of us. The Happiness Project’s summer theme, Happiness Comes in Waves, is a reminder that happiness doesn’t always arrive all at once — sometimes it’s in our far view or is found in a quiet sunset, a moment of peace, or in the laughter shared with friends. We applaud your courage to keep going through changing tides.

May this season bring more moments that refresh your spirit and carry you toward brighter days.

Motherhood doesn’t just change your life—it changes your brain.
The time after bitrth, called Postpartum, brings major changes in areas tied to emotion, bonding, and stress response— and right when sleep is most disrupted. If things feel harder, slower, or different, that’s expected.

This isn’t decline—it’s adaptation. Your brain is adjusting for caregiving, often on limited rest.
