Today, on Women Veterans Day, we honor the courage, strength, and resilience of the women who have worn the uniform in service to our nation. From every branch and every era—your sacrifice, leadership, and dedication have paved the way for generations to come.

June 12 marks the anniversary of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, the day women were officially allowed to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. Armed Forces. But long before that, women were already serving—with determination, grit, and heart—often without recognition.

To my sisters in arms: thank you for your service. Your stories matter, your legacy matters, and you matter. 🇺🇸♥️

Continuing to make a difference!!! ❤️🇺🇸

Today we finally get to share that Final Salute, Inc. has received a Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, helping us check off one of our bucket list projects!

This project will allow us to make important improvements to our transitional home in Northern Virginia, creating a safer, more private, and more welcoming environment for the women veterans and families we serve.

We are so grateful for this investment in our mission and cannot wait to share the transformation with you.
