A few things to watch for this summer:
• excessive panting
• laying on cool tile floors
• unusual tiredness
• excessive drooling
• refusing walks
• constantly seeking shade

A few simple ways to help:
💧 Keep fresh water available
🌳 Avoid the hottest part of the day
🐾 Test the pavement before walks
🧊 Create cool places for them to rest

Summer walks, patios, beach days, artificial turf, even laying in the sun too long can raise their body temperature faster than most people realize.

A lot of dogs quietly show signs before owners recognize what’s happening:
• excessive panting

• unusual fatigue
