சமீபத்தில் சேங்கனூரில் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ அண்ணா அவர்களின் ஜெயந்தி மகோத்ஸவம் நடைப்பெற்றது. நிகழ்ச்சி முடிவதற்கு முதல் நாள் செப்டம்பர் 10 2026, ஸ்ரீ பாதுகைகளுக்கு பட்டாபிஷேகம் விமர்சையாக நடந்தது. அதன் பிறகு ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜி அவரது அறையில் சற்று ஓய்வாக இருந்தார். அப்போது மகாத்மாக்கள் பற்றியும், அவர்கள் வாழ்வில் நடந்த அற்புதங்கள் பற்றியும் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அவர் சொன்ன சில விஷயங்கள் ஆச்சர்யமாகவும், இப்படியெல்லாம் நடக்குமா என்ற வியப்பும் ஏற்பட்டது. ஆன்மீக சாதனை செய்பவனுக்கு, சித்திகள் ஏற்படுவது சகஜம் என்றும், ஆனாலும் அதில் வீழாமல், தொடர்ந்து சாதனையில் முன்னேறுபவனே உத்தம சாதகன் என்றார். இதையெல்லாம் மனது ரசித்தாலும், அறிவு ஏனோ ஏற்க மறுத்தது. ஆனாலும் நான் எதுவும் வாய் திறந்து சொல்லவில்லை. அப்போது ஸ்ரீ ஹரிஹர சுப்பிரமணியன் பாகவதர் அறைக்குள் வந்து ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜியிடம் ஏதோ தனிப்பட்ட விஷயமாக பேசினார்.
அப்போது ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜி அவரிடம் ஒரு பேப்பர், பேனா எடுத்து வா என்றார். அவரும் அப்படியே செய்தார். அதை பெற்றுக்கொண்டு, அவரை அறைக்கு வெளியே சென்று காத்திருக்க சொன்னார். ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜி அந்த காகிதத்தில் ஏதோ எழுதினார். அதை நன்கு மடக்கி கைகளில் வைத்துக்கொண்டார். பிறகு ஸ்ரீ ஹரியை மீண்டும் அறைக்கு அழைத்து, அவர் எதிரில் அமரச் சொன்னார். அவரை கூர்ந்து நோக்கி, நான் ஏதாவது ஒரு கேள்வி கேட்பேன், சற்றும் யோசிக்காமல், சட்டென பதில் சொல்ல வேண்டும் என்றார். அவரும் சரியென்று தலையசைத்தார். ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜி அவரிடம், ஒன்றிலிருந்து நூறுக்குள், ஏதேனும் ஒரு நம்பர் சொல் என்றார். அவரும் உடனே 77 என்றார். அப்போது ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜி அவரிடம் தன் கையில் மடக்கி வைத்திருந்த காகிதத்தை கொடுத்து, பிரித்து பார்க்கச் சொன்னார். பிரித்து படித்த ஸ்ரீ ஹரியின் முகம் ஆச்சர்யத்தில் மலர்ந்தது. நான் இதையெல்லாம் சுவாரஸ்யமாக பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜி, ஸ்ரீ ஹரியிடம் - இவர் இதையெல்லாம் நம்ப மாட்டார், அவரிடம் அந்த பேப்பரை காட்டு என்றார். அதை நான் கண்கள் விரிய பார்த்தேன்- அதில் எழுதி இருந்தது- 77 !!
இதெல்லாம் ஒரு பக்கம் ரசித்து, அனுபவித்து கொண்டிருந்தாலும், மனதில் ஒரு கவலை ரேகை ஓடிக் கொண்டிருந்தது. எனக்கு பயங்கர பசி. நேரம் ஆகிவிட்டது. ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜி பேசிக்கொண்டு இருக்கும் போது, பாதியில் செல்ல முடியாதே?பிரசாத கூடம் மூடுவதற்குள் செல்ல வேண்டுமே? என பல வகை சிந்தனை. அப்போது ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வாமிஜி, ஸ்ரீ ஹரியிடம், “இந்த அண்ணாவிற்கு பசிக்கும். பிரசாத கூடம் மூடுவதற்குள், அவரை அழைத்துச் சென்று பந்தியில் அமர்த்து” என்று அனுப்பி வைத்தார்! வயிறு நிறையும் முன் மனது நிறைந்தது.

*The Mind-boggling Mind Reading…*
Recently, Sri Sri Anna’s Jayanthi Mahotsavam was celebrated at Senganoor. On the day before the conclusion of the event - September 10 2026, Sri Paduka Pattabhishekam was conducted in a grand manner. After that, Sri Swamiji was resting in his room. At that time, he was speaking about Mahatmas and the miracles that had occurred in their lives. Some of the things he narrated were astonishing and left me wondering, “Can such things really happen?” He said that it is quite natural for a person pursuing spiritual sadhana to attain siddhis (supernatural powers). However, the true and elevated seeker is one who does not get carried away by such siddhis and instead continues to progress steadily in their spiritual practice. Though my heart enjoyed listening to all this, for some reason, my intellect was reluctant to accept it. Yet, I did not say anything aloud. At that moment, Sri Harihara Subramanian Bhagavathar entered the room and spoke to Sri Swamiji about something personal.
Sri Swamiji then asked him to bring a piece of paper and a pen. He did as instructed. Sri Swamiji took them and asked him to go outside the room and wait. Sri Swamiji wrote something on the paper, folded it carefully and held it in His hand. Then He called Sri Hari back into the room and asked him to sit opposite to him. Looking intently at him, Sri Swamiji said, “I am going to ask you a question. You must answer immediately, without thinking even for a moment.” Sri Hari nodded in agreement. Sri Swamiji then said, “Tell me any number between one and hundred.” Without hesitation, Sri Hari replied, “77.” Sri Swamiji then handed him the folded piece of paper that he had been holding and asked him to open it. As Sri Hari unfolded the paper and read what was written on it, his face lit up with astonishment. I was watching all this with great interest. Sri Swamiji looking at me told Sri Hari, “He will not believe all this. Show him the paper.” I looked at it with my eyes wide open. Written on the paper was — 77!!
While I was enjoying and experiencing this amazing incident, there was also a small worry running through my mind. I was extremely hungry. It was getting late. I wondered, “How can I leave halfway while Sri Swamiji is talking? But I have to reach the Prasada Hall before it closes!” My mind was filled with all sorts of thoughts. Just then, Sri Swamiji told Sri Hari, “This Anna will be hungry. Before the Prasada Hall closes, take him there and make him sit for partaking Prasad.” And so, I was sent along! Before my hunger was satisfied, my heart was already full.
