New to derm? Here’s something nobody tells you early enough — if you aren’t intentional about how you screen for skin cancer, you’ll end up with a practice full of nothing but annual skin checks.

Her advice:

✅ Talk to LOW-RISK patients about prevention over screening
✅ Reassure them they don’t need an annual skin check if they’re low risk
✅ But always make sure they know you’re there when a concerning spot shows up

Prevention first. Availability always. That’s how you build a practice that works for both you and your patients. 💙
